How do i get my checklists, logbooks and forms to Checkmate?
You can do one of the following:
1: Self Configuration:
- Fill in this "Account Details" form to provide us with the basic account information we require,
- Fill out the "People Log In Details" form to provide start up log in information for all the people you would like to have access to the service
- Fill in the "Menu Builder" to establish what order and grouping you would like your forms to appear in the menu
- Fill in a "Checklist Builder", "Logbook Builder" or "Form Builder" for each form you would like to include in your account.
Email them all to support@checkmateism.com and we will open an account for you. All you then need to do is sync your iOS devices to this account and all your forms will be downloaded and ready to use.
2. Use our Technical Services to come and generate the checklists for you.
Hassle free solution for people with no existing system. Obviously more costly.
- On site optimisation of amount and type of checklists based on your requirements,
- Generate all the necessary checklists, Load them in the Central Database,
- Set up your iOS Devices with the App and your Network Settings and test the entire process.
How long does it take before i can start using my checklists and logbooks?
In normal situations your account will be up and running 3 to 5 working days after the initial invoice has been paid. If you wish we can supply you with a more accurate start date once we have reviewed your checklists.
How do i set up my iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad to send and receive emails?
Go to this page http://www.apple.com/support/iphone/mail/ on Apple's website to get step by step instructions on how to set up your iOS device with an email account. IMPORTANT: Yahoo is not compatible for sending your reports to the Checkmate Data Centre
How much does the Checkmate service cost?
We will give you a precise breakdown of the cost as soon as you tell us what you want processing and how you want to send it to our data centre. Are there any limitations to using Checkmate?
We don’t think so. If you currently manage to achieve what you need to achieve using traditional paper checklists or logbooks, you will definitely benefit from using Checkmate. With our comprehensive verification and security options we can usually satisfy the regulatory requirements within your industry. Is there any installation fee?
Yes - a small one, to cover the cost of preparing and uploading your checklists. The price of this will be indicated in our quote.
Are their maintenance call out or repair fees?
No - As information is processed via Checkmates Central Server and the Checkmate App can be managed remotely.
Is there any facility for training?
Yes, - Even though Checkmate is extremely simple to operate and in most instances our telephone support is sufficient, sometimes it is wise for an organisation to receive formal training. Particularly for more crucial operations or if the employees are not familiar with using an iPhone device. We offer a standard on site training seminar that addresses the following topics:

The iPad offers greater input options for more text heavy reporting tasks.

How do i edit or change the people i want to use the service?

How do i edit or change the report destinations for a specific form?
Please review "editing report destinations" to learn how to change the email report destinations fro a specific form, please note this does not affect the account destinations where all reports are sent. To change these please contact support@checkmateism.com with details of the changes you require.
Can I use any iOS device to enter my data?
Yes, as long as the iOS device has the Checkmate App installed you have synced it to your account.
What if i do not have an internet connection?
Not a problem, complete your checklist and press submit and send as usual, the device will store your data in your email outbox until you get in range of an internet connection, it will then automatically send the email with the data to our data center.
Will each checklist entry be time stamped with the time it was actually completed or the time it was sent?
Each entry is time stamped with the time it was actually completed, regardless or when the information is sent to the data center.
How do I protect my iOS device in harsh industrial environments

Can I change the layout of a report?
Yes the options are endless, anything from a company logo to what and how information is displayed, additional cahrges may apply
What sort of information can you show in a report?
We will process the information you send so it provides the information you need, We can supply simple archive reports, filtered and summary reports, graphs and charts for trend analysis and automated calculations for invoices etc.
How much do custom reports cost?
This depends on the level of customisation, please contact us at support@checkmateism.com for an exact quote based on your requirements.
How many different people can you send a report to?
We can send a report to an unlimited number of destinations.
How often are reports sent?
This depends on how often you want to receive them. As default a report is sent each time a checklist is completed and for logbooks a monthly .pdf or excel document is issued containing all the entries for that calandar month.
Can i change how a report looks in the middle of a contract period?
Yes you can make changes at anytime, a small charge might apply depending on the nature of the changes.

When I Log In it says "Details Not Recognised"
Please check the following:
- If it is the first time you have logged in on a device or you have only recently installed Checkmate App. Make sure you have synced the device with your account, instructions to do this are here, syncing iOS device with your account to check the name of the account should show at the bottom of the home screen
- All User Names and Passwords are case sensitive, please ensure you are entering your log in details in the correct case.
- If you are still having problems contact your administrator and they can give you new log in details.
I have not received a confirmation or a report for a checklist a completed 2 hours ago?
Check in the device's Mail "Sent" box and make sure it has been sent. If you can not see it there, have a look in the "Outbox" if it is there select it and press send, first making sure you are connected to the internet.
I do not receive a confirmation or report when i use my Yahoo email account to send checklist data?
You can not use a Yahoo email account to send data to the Data Center, Yahoo breaks up email attachments in such a way that means our Data Center cannot recognise the information. Use an alternative email client like "gmail" to send data, make sure the device's email default is set to the correct email account. I need to minimise the use of my broadband?
